About Skyray Holiday Apartments

What is a serviced apartment?

A holiday apartment is that; an apartment that can be hired on a nightly basis for the totally required nights & days to include, with towels and linen changed, and cleaning once a week. These apartments are fully furnished, have a kitchen/ kitchenette, with the added luxury of cooking your own meals or go to nearby restaurants as and when you choose, a holiday apartment really is a home away from home. These includes a parking for your vehicle, elevators, private balconies, 24 hour security, hot water geyser, intercom service, washing machine, refrigerator, iron with iron table are all provided.

What is included in the rate?

Skyray holiday apartments include full amenities to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Our rates include the apartment, utilities service. Each apartment comes standard with a complete furnishing package, cookware, dishes, utensils and linens, cable TV, etc. Typically apartment rates are 15-45% less expensive than an equivalent hotel room.

Who pays for the utility bills and council tax?

One of the many advantages of holiday apartments is that all the utilities, council tax, TV license, etc are included in the rates quoted. You do not need to contact service providers at all. You will have to pay additionally only for the electricity used by you.

What facilities are available in the Skyray Holiday Apartment?

All Skyray apartments are fully furnished, with house wares, linens and towels, everything for the kitchen, place settings for the dining room – even glasses. In addition, many of our apartment complexes offer extra amenities such as fitness facilities and swimming pools. When you stay in a Skyray holiday apartment you have complete residential experience and you can settle into your apartment and make it your own.

Where are SKYRAY holiday apartments located?

Our apartments are in desirable central neighborhoods, within Colombo city, close to business and residential areas. Depending on your needs, we offer apartments within easy access to public transportation. Our locations are convenient to shopping, entertainment, super markets & restaurants etc nearby within walking distance.

How is housekeeping and linen change arranged?

In our apartments the changes of linen, towels and cleans the apartment weekly.

Can you supply an extra bed?

We are able to arrange for a foldaway bed at, Additional charges be payable.

About my booking

Are the photos of the actual apartment I will book?

The photos on the website are actual representative of apartments at the location.

Is it possible to view an apartment before I book?

Yes we can arrange viewings, though this can depend on guest occupancy of the apartments at the time. Please call us we will be able to book a mutually convenient time to view. You could also request your friend or relative to see our apartment on your behalf.

Can I place an apartment on hold before I book it?

We operate at first-come, first-served policy. However sometimes we are able to place an apartment ‘on hold’ for a short time – please call us and we will be happy to help.

 

Is there a minimum length of stay?

We accommodate guests for all lengths of stay from minimum 1 week to 3 months or more, depending on availability of the particular holiday apartment.

How do I book?

When you make an enquiry by e-mail or phone we will provide a fixed quote based on your requirements. You are then able to book with us according to the quote we provide. Once you book you will receive an email confirmation. When payment has been received you will receive a receipt and detailed booking summary, directions to the apartment and details of how to check-in.

 

How and when do I pay for the apartment?

We accept you may pay by bank transfer. Or pay by cash payments through your friend or relative in Sri Lanka. All bookings must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed beforehand in writing.

 

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes a refundable security deposit is required. We will let you know the amount. Refundable deposits are refunded once the apartment has been checked on your departure and the refund is given to you at the same time.

I want to make a booking for several months - will I have to pay for the whole stay when I book?

For stays of over six weeks or more, we are happy to do the booking on a monthly basis. Balance payment is due before the end of monthly period covered on the booking.

 

How do I get check-in details for my stay?

Once your payment is taken you will be emailed comprehensive check-in details. You will be met on arrival at the holiday apartment at the time of your check-in.

What time is check in?

The standard check-in time is 13.00 hours. If you require an earlier check-in time you may need to book from the night before – please check with us.

 

What time is check-out?

The standard check-out time is 11.00 hours. Late check-out can sometimes be arranged – please check with us.

 

Are pets allowed in the apartment?

Pets are not allowed in the apartments.

 

What happens if I have a problem in the apartment?

Every apartment has an on duty 24 hours security to take care of any unexpected problems.
